PIYUSH

Piyush is 0.5% chlorine solution widely used for drinking water disinfection.it was introduced in 1994 by ENPHO. It is widely accepted in both rural and urban contexts for drinking water purification.

PIYUSH PLUS

Piyush Plus is a 0.7% chlorine solution for disinfecting large volumes of drinking water usually stored in buckets or tanks. Piyush Plus is a product of ENPHO introduced in 2010. Piyush Plus was massively distributed during emergency response activity after earthquake in April, 2015 for drinking water disinfection.

1% CHLORINE SOLUTION

1% Chlorine solution distributed by Eco-Concern Private Limited can be used for variety of disinfection purposes. To ensure maximum effectiveness, proper cleaning of water is suggested in case of turbid water samples. It is being prepared following the CDC guidelines. The chlorine solution is mainly used for sterilisation of large volumes of water by domestic households as well as in water treatment plants.

ENPHO FIELD WATER TEST KIT

ENPHO Field Water Test kit was developed by ENPHO in 2001 A.D. in order to allow testing of water on-site. The kit can be used to test 10 different water quality parameters- pH, temperature, Chloride, total hardness, Iron, Ammonia, Nitrate, Phosphate, Free Residual Chlorine and Coliform. A single kit is sufficient for testing up to 80-100 water samples for each parameter except Coliform (only 10 coliform P/A vial provided). The results obtained for different parameters are based either on colorimetric or titrimetric method of water testing. Reagents can be refilled as per requirement. For turbid water samples, filtration before testing is suggested for better results.

P/A VIAL

Coliform Presence/Absence (H2S) Test Vial is a used for qualitative detection of faecal contamination in drinking water. The test vial (developed by ENPHO in 2001) is popular for water quality at field and been widely used by different national and international agencies for water quality testing activities.

BODY BELT INCUBATOR

The Body Belt Incubator utilises body heat in order to maintain a relatively constant incubation condition (i.e.,>25 oC and <40 oC), regardless of ambient temperature. It is worn around the waist and was developed by ENPHO Laboratory as a substitute to electrical incubator in areas lacking electricity or where continuous access to electricity is not present.
