Post Training Follow up Support

ENPHO Training Centre believes that one shot of training for “Training of Trainers” (TOT) is not enough to provide complete knowledge and build essential skills making them capable to effectively influence WASH behavior of community. Thus, ENPHO Training Centre provides post training follow up support to organizations, training participants and practitioners through distance and in-presence support activities such as telephone consultation, coaching, problem solving meeting, co-delivery, session observation and providing feedback in order to overcome their practical issues and challenges.

ENPHO Training Centre provides constructive feedback to the trainers of local WASH implementing organizations after consultation and/ or observation of their training delivery skills, for their betterment in future.

The unit is also providing technical and consultation support to Bio-sand Filter (BSF) entrepreneurs and its umbrella union ‘Bio-sand Filter Entrepreneurs Association Nepal (BiFEAN)’. As of December 2018, BiFEAN has distributed more than 80,000 biosand filters serving more than 3,10,000 community people to get access to safe drinking water.

As of July 2020, ENPHO Training Centre has conducted a total of 87 consulting meeting support, 58 field visits for observation of facilitation, and 117 telephonic consultation support to different organizations working in WASH sector. Most of the follow up support was provided through telephone calls as it is one of the easiest means of communication.
