Drinking Water Act-2077 Indorsed by Barahatal Rural Municipality
Barahatal Rural Municipality has indorsed and published Drinking Water Act-2077 on 17 June, 2021.
The act was initially approved through Municipal Winter Assembly on 19thMarch, 2021.
Drinking water services shall be operationalized and regulated in Barahatal Rural Municipality as per this Act for the safely management of drinking water system. The Act will further be implemented by sanitation user committees to reduce risk to the public health and help achieving SDG- Goal 6.
Under the WASH SDG project with the support of WASH Alliance International, ENPHO had provided its technical support throughout the development of this Act.
