Learning exchange is one of the services provided by ENPHO Training Centre where participants get the opportunity to share and learn the innovative ideas on WASH. This is the platform to share ones’ knowledge and experiences which supports to enhance and strengthen the attributes of WASH sector. Every learning exchange program have new themes focusing on which the overall event is conducted.

The program consists of different participatory activities and is a platform to share and learn the best practices and innovative ideas on WASH project implementation and to identify the possible solutions to meet the gaps in WASH sector. Significant challenges during implementation of WASH projects are also discussed after which the participants come up with the possible solutions to address them.

With the aim of providing more knowledge and information on WASH, a WASH corner is also showcased during the learning exchange program where the innovative ideas/ approaches and achievement in WASH along with training packages, manuals, IEC material, ENPHO Test Kit, CS Filter etc. are exhibited. In addition, ENPHO Training Centre further plans to include site visits to the event in near future.

The program is being organized since 2012 for WASH implementing organizations, WASH practitioners including Bio-sand Filter entrepreneurs. As of July 2020, five such events have been successfully organized with the rationale of marketing and quality improvement of BSF, better coordination among entrepreneurs, reduce capacity gap in WASH sector and possible solution, experience sharing of WASH project implementer during emergency.

Learning Exchanges were organized in both national and international level. At national level, WASH implementing organizations, related stakeholders are coordinated for the program. Whereas, at international level, ENPHO Training Centre has hosted learning exchange programs for organizations from different countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, and India.
