Celebrating International Women Days 2022

Advancing gender equality in the context of the climate crisis and disaster risk reduction is one of the greatest global challenges of the 21st century. Women are increasingly being recognized as more vulnerable to climate change impacts than men, as they constitute the majority of the world’s poor and are more dependent on the natural resources which climate change threatens the most. International Women’s Day is celebrated throughout the globe on 8 March every year to appreciate the remarkable contributions of women to our society. This day is dedicated to honouring the life, struggles, and determination of women.

ENPHO has been working in the sector of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), environmental and climate issues assisting to achieve gender equality and minimize the climate change impacts.
